Pressure Care
Pressure injuries develop when mobility is reduced or limited when confined to a bed or chair. They commonly occur when there is prolonged pressure on bony prominences such as the elbow, heel, shoulder, back of head, lower back and the buttock area.
Pressure injuries are difficult to treat and can lead to serious complications. Prevention is key to managing areas at risk. Prevention tips include regular position changes, good hygiene and skin care and choosing the appropriate equipment for the patient.
Please see below our range for assistive equipment to manage pressure injury prevention and assist in recovery of an established pressure injury.
